With the latest update (May 27), King Arthur: Legends Rise introduced the Equipment Engraving System, a powerful enhancement feature that allows players to further personalize and empower their gear. This new mechanic brings a deeper level of strategy to equipment management, offering additional stat customization through two engraving types: Basic Stats and Special Stats.

Unlock this system by clearing Main Story Normal 4-7.

🔧 How It Works

âś… Engraving Slots

Each piece of equipment can be engraved with:

  • One Basic Stat
  • One Special Stat

These are randomly determined during the engraving process, and both change together when re-engraving—you can’t reroll just one.

đź“Š Stat Types

  • Basic Stats include flat boosts to common parameters in some range like ATK, HP, or DEF.
  • Special Stats can offer unique bonuses as given below:
    • Crit Rate
    • CS resistence
    • Effect Accuracy
    • Effect Resistance
    • Endurance

as of now only 5 Special Stats available to enhance

🛠️ Materials & Requirements

To perform an engraving, you need materials that are obtainable through the new Dismantle Equipment System:

  1. Forged Fragment – General engraving currency.
  2. Transformed Residue – Required for applying basic stats.
  3. Recovered Essence – Required for applying special stats.

đź’ˇ Tip: Always dismantle unused or lower-rank gear to stockpile engraving materials.

🌀 Dismantle Equipment System

  • Unlocked alongside Engraving at Main Story Normal 4-7.
  • Dismantling provides:
    • Forged Fragment (common)
    • Transformed Residue (basic stat material)
    • Recovered Essence (special stat material)
    • Gold

You can dismantle in bulk to efficiently gather resources for multiple engravings.

🧠 Strategic Tips

  • Target Builds: Engrave based on your champion’s role—e.g., Crit Rate/Endurance for DPS, Effect Resistance for tanks.
  • Reroll Wisely: Since both stat types change, avoid rerolling great combinations unless strictly necessary.
  • Dismantle Smart: Dismantle low-star or outdated gear to maximize material gain without losing value.

The Equipment Engraving System significantly elevates gear optimization. It’s particularly impactful in PvP, Forbidden Dungeon Hard Mode, and Clan War, where every stat edge counts. Coupled with gear sets and Keepsakes, engraving gives you a new dimension to fine-tune your heroes and outperform tougher content.
